Arts Versa LTD is a not-for-profit organisation providing high-calibre arts, media and education services. These include event management, film production and consultancy with a specialism in accessing ethnic minorities and multicultural communities.
Having operated as a voluntary organisation since 1989, Arts Versa has covered a diverse range of subjects and mediums and has built up an extensive academic, creative and grass roots network of experts and producers. Many past projects were delivered professionally by director, Mohsin Abbas, in a personal professional capacity with the support of the Arts Versa network. This year (2010), Arts Versa Management & Consultancy was established to undertake commercial projects, a percentage of which go to sustaining the organisation's core not-for-profit work.
Over the past few years Arts Versa has delivered events and projects for and in partnership with public sector organisations such as the British Council, the Arts Council of England, the City of London Police, the Mayor of London's Office and various embassies. Arts Versa has worked with the Confederation of Indian Industries and British-based corporates to promote trade fairs. The organisation has also produced a variety of documentary programmes working mainly with the multicultural departments at Channel Four Television and the BBC.
